OILERS SIGN AND RECALL LINGLET FROM THE FALCONS
--Falcons Sign Blair Riley To ATO Contract--
March 31, 2010 – The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that forward Charles Linglet has been signed to a one-year contract and recalled by their National Hockey League affiliate, the Edmonton Oilers. The Falcons also announced they signed forward Blair Riley to an Amateur Tryout Agreement.
Linglet continues to lead the Falcons in scoring this year with 19 goals and 55 assists for 74 points in 75 games. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound native of Montreal, Quebec is currently ranked fifth in the AHL in scoring and he is also third in the league in assists.
Linglet represented Springfield at the 2010 AHL All-Star Classic in Portland, Maine this season and he is the lone Falcons player to have played in all 75 games this year. He is a veteran of 331 career AHL games having collected 96 goals and 150 assists for 246 career points.
Blair Riley is starting his pro career after recently completing his senior season at Ferris State University. The 6-foot, 220-pound native of Kamloops, British Columbia set career highs in all offensive categories this year collecting 18 goals, 20 assists and 38 points in 40 games.
