MOCK Draft 2014 NHL - who do the Oilers take?

Just finished last night my 2014 NHL Mock Draft. As promised to several of you on twitter and here at Oilersjambalaya.com, I would post the day before draft day in Philadelphia.

  1. If it looks like that for the first 4 picks , Oilers will offer NYI a player for the 5th pick. NYI are very motivated to trade their pick since they don't have the 2015 1st round pick.

  2. I think NYI will be fine picking up whoever falls to them at #5. Not hearing much happening with them in trade talk. Stories of Baily and trading picks is overrated I think

  3. NYI will take a warm body for the fifth pick. Imagine if their pick they deferred in 2015 ended up being McDavid. NYI are looking to get better immediately

  4. Exactly my thoughts. Full year of Tavares and likely Reinhart (Griffin) plays their as well.
