STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks, has announced the team's training camp for the 2010-11 season will officially start Sunday, Oct. 3 at Stockton Arena.

The Thunder is scheduled to use Stockton Arena as its flagship practice site. "Fan Fest" will highlight the final week of training camp, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Stockton Arena on Sunday, Oct. 10. Admission for the event is free to the general public and additional information will be announced soon.

All practice sess ions at Stockton Arena are open to the media.

The training camp roster lineup will vary for all practice sessions. Those media members seeking specific players should check with the Thunder media relations department in advance for the best time to gain access to individuals as it will likely change daily. Media availability for Thunder head coach Matt Thomas will be held immediately following the conclusion of each day's session.

A training camp roster will be announced soon.

All media wishing to cover practice sessions must contact the Thunder media relations department at (209) 373-1500. As per club media policy, the training room and restrooms inside the team dressing room are strictly off-limits at all times. Players receiving medical treatment in training room during the access period will be available to the media following treatment.
